Genre #5 Classical

Classical Music

Every single genre discussed in this blog so far has been derive from one type of music in particular, CLassical. Using instruments you would often find in a High school  Band room such as French horns, oboes, flutes, and violins. CLassical music is the genre that started it all and if you listen carefully to each genre of todays time you can still hear the faint sounds of something timeless

Genre #4 Rock Out!

Rock Music

This genre is very broad including bands from the 1980's such as van Halen, Journey,  Pink Floyd, poison, and the rolling stones. It also includes bands such as Metallica and avenged sevenfold. of course the sound of rock music has changed dramatically over the years but that's the joy of it, each group has in own sound and personality leading to a very broad range of sound and lyrics. it varies from emotional events to rebellion and standing up for  what you believe in.

Genre #3 PoP!

Pop

Turn on your radio station, the first thing you here? Pop music this includes artists such as : LMFAO, Brittney Spears, Lady GaGa, and Bruno Mars.  This genre is known for its crazy, wild beats and meaningless lyrics, and although the sound has been warped by autotune you can still hear the beats from the original pop music (such as the backstreet boys or N sync). Pop music is energetic and as soon as you hear it you might feel the need to dance, of course, don't do this because people may look sideways at you . But this energetic music will often times be played in the car, at a school dance, or anywhere that fun is allowed , just.... don't over do it.

Genre #2 YO!

Rap/ Hip Hop Music

From the old schools beats to today's freshest rhymes ,rap and hip hop music is widely popular among the teenage age group .some of today music was inspired by old school rap/ hip hop singer such as Tupac the notorious B.I.G. Personally I am not a big fan of this genre of music simply because in this day and age the young rap artists such as drake, lil wayne, and Eminem all talk about one thing in their music: Sex, Drugs, and Money. Turn on the radio and the first thing you hear is how lil wayne is going out and dealing drugs as a gang member. OF course all of this is just a publicity stunt but what kind of example is this setting for the young teenagers listening to how their favorite rapper just got arrested for cocaine abuse? However when you take out the poor lyrics, you get a great beat tat is typical to the old schools rap in the 90's.

Genre #1 Y'all !

Country Music

The country music genre is a personal favorite of many people (myself included). perhaps the popularity of this genre stems from the tone of the music which typically includes instruments such as a guitar and a vocalist with that " Ol' southern drawl" or perhaps its the idea of having a great life on a farm somewhere and riding into the sunset with the girl you love and relaxing with some of the "good ol boys" that inspires people to listen to this type of music from dusk till dawn. While the tone of the music sounds similar in almost every country song known to man Either slow or fast paced the reaction is still the same.

Introduction
